After nearly fifteen years since the beginning of its practical application in engineering works, the ‘jet grouting’ system of soil consolidation still lacks standardization, a fact that represents significant difficulties for the designers to utilize the system and to include in his projects the execution and quality control specification. In the present paper all the available information regarding this subject will be given, as a result of many experiences in this field and as a contribution to the future and desirable standardization of this technique, that is presently giving evidence of being more and more interesting and helpful.
