Introduction
In recent times, the landscape for international construction business environment has been fast
changing and a number of key developments have led to this. The most dramatic development
has been the unprecedented technological advancements in information and communication
systems. The introduction of the Internet to the public in the 1990s has had a major impact on
global construction business. Since then, collaborative systems have been rapidly improved
thus enabling project team members to collaborate in virtual project environments much more
