The hot rolled flat steel products catalogued here are intended for processing by cold-forming. The delivery conditions for thermomechanical rolled steel products are outlined in BS EN 10149-2:2013 and for normalised or normalised rolled within BS EN 10149-3:2013. One full example is provided for grade S260NC.

Unlike steels to BS EN 10025-3:2019 and BS EN 10025-4:2019, the following names do not explicitly define impact characteristics. For these steels, impact energy should be agreed when the order is placed.

Values for minimum elongation at fracture are given for nominal thicknesses ⩾3 mm.
