Estuarine management requires a sound understanding of the physical, ecological and socio-economic environment. To support management decisions an integrated policy analysis approach is therefore necessary. This paper presents a framework for such an approach, the applicability of which is illustrated by the Segara Anakan case study (Java, Indonesia).
