This paper presents a case study into the Eko Atlantic City development in Lagos, Nigeria. It describes the planning, design and construction of the development and explains how the project, in combination with the repairs to the Lagos Moles (breakwaters), has provided a solution to the long-term erosion of Bar Beach which fronts Victoria Island.
