The CDM Regulations came into force on 6 April 2015, and the transitional and saving provisions recognise and take account of projects that started before and will continue after 6 April 2015 that were subject to the 2007 Regulations. Regulation 37 simply states that
Schedule 4 is divided according to the status of a project under the 2007 Regulations that had started before 6 April 2015 as follows:
For projects with no existing CDM coordinator or principal contractor, paragraph 3(2) of Schedule 4 provides that regulation 5 will not apply immediately on 6 April 2015 if three conditions are met as required by paragraph 3(1) of Schedule 4 follows:
