This chapter examines the process of using a mindset and the tool of mentoring to establish a culture of mindfulness in a community college environment. It highlights how mindfulness practice focused upon wellbeing, involving things such as techniques prior to taking exams or giving presentations, can be accessible and practical for students. The qualities of mentorship styles and the impact on students’ engagement in mindfulness, including student testimonials, is discussed. The chapter also offers an exploration on how to mentor and encourage faculty colleagues to integrate mindfulness as a pedagogical approach and includes specific descriptions and instructions for teaching evidence-based mindfulness activities that can be readily adapted and used in any college classroom.
