The purpose of this research was to analyze the impact regarding the work-family conflict of the transition from working at the office to working at home during the COVID-19 pandemic on professors and workers in general in the Brazilian context. To perform the analyses, a quantitative study was conducted with primary data (n = 451) collected through a structured questionnaire from a population composed of professors from Brazilian public universities and workers in general. For the data analysis, partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) and multigroup analysis (MGA) were used to list the relationships between the constructs. The results of this research indicate that there are relationships between work-family conflict during the home office regime before and during the pandemic. This research contains relevant information for organizations concerning workers and how their lives were before and during the pandemic, aiding an analysis that could lead to important discussions in order to understand the new behaviors in a totally transformed scenario.
