The high failure rate of digital transformation projects might be lowered by socio-economic approach to management. SEAM is not only holistic performance measurement system, but also an organizational transformation method encompassing workforce differentiation and business process innovation. However, SEAM shall develop digital dimensions such as development methods, technological infrastructure and enterprise architecture in consistence with the “Human-Digital Competitiveness” (HDC) framework. Combined with HDC framework, the SEAM stands as a customer-driven, people-driven performance management for improving the odds of digital transformation in companies.
