In this chapter, we look at another subtype of positive autoethnography (PosAE) allied to pragmatic autoethnography (PAE) introduced in Chapter 4: positive autoethnographic case studies (PosAE CSs). First, the author considers in more detail what PosAE case studies are and how they differ from case studies. Then, the author presents an excerpt from nine recently published PosAE CSs: Dr. Joyce Shaffer, Professor Claude-Hélène Mayer, Emeritus Professor Everett Worthington, Emeritus Professor Paul Wong, Dr. Mark Weeks, Dr. Grant Rich, Professor Dr. René Proyer, Dr. Ryan Niemiec and Dr. Evangelos Fradelos. Finally, the author showcases two autoethnographic vignettes where PosAE case study authors Paul Wong and Ryan Niemiec reflect on their experiences using PosAE.
