Abstract
In this chapter, Fran Sepler, a leading authority in harassment prevention and workplace investigations, discusses her work with Christina Hughes. They examine the concepts of bullying, including how acts of bullying are gendered. Sepler’s latest research draws on the blurred lines between incivility in the workplace and bullying. She applies this to the issues of intersectionality, highlighting how incivility becomes embedded in university cultures to the serious detriment of both human and organizational flourishing.
