The Internet of Things (IoT) and online services are central to the fourth industrial revolution, fundamentally altering how organizations operate in the era of Industry 4.0. As businesses increasingly adopt advanced technologies such as Big Data, AI, and blockchain, they are witnessing transformative changes across various sectors, including healthcare, finance, transportation, retail, and education (Chillakuri & Attili, 2021; Saju Mathew et al., 2021; Sigov et al., 2022).
The COVID-19 pandemic has further accelerated this digital transformation, forcing companies to restructure their business strategies and align traditional work practices with digital technologies (Chen et al., 2021). To thrive in this digital age, organizations must adopt new tools and solutions at an unprecedented scale (Chen et al., 2022). This shift emphasizes revamping learning and development programs for equipping workforce with the skills necessary to leverage these technologies effectively. In a time marked by uncertainty, training professionals are focusing on developing robust crisis response strategies that prepare employees for sudden changes and challenges (Adedoyin & Soykan, 2023). By fostering adaptability and resilience through comprehensive training initiatives, organizations can enhance their operational continuity and maintain a competitive advantage. Ultimately, the amalgamation of IoT and AI, alongside a commitment to continuous learning, positions businesses to overcome the technological disruptions and survive in modern landscape successfully.
