The recruitment and selection process plays a very significant role in organizational success by impacting employee retention, job satisfaction, and organizational performance (Arif et al., 2021). Organizations can improve productivity, customer satisfaction, and profitability by attracting and selecting the right candidates. Additionally, an effective recruitment and selection process can enhance the employer’s brand and attract top talent. Hence, many organizations are taking a step toward adopting emerging technologies in the recruitment and selection process to gain benefits (Abbas et al., 2023). The use of AI in the recruitment and selection process is one of the leading emerging trends. AI can take care of certain mundane tasks in recruitment like application screening, sending emails to candidates and following up with the interview process. The use of AI can make the process efficient by reducing the time-to-hire, improving the candidate experience, and enhancing the quality of hires which generally is appealing to many organizational leaders.
