The aim of this research is to explore the critical role of women in sustainable tourism. From 2000 to 2024, the number of women working in the tourism sector, the number of women owning tourism businesses, and the number of women in leadership positions within tourism enterprises were determined annually and included as independent variables. Local income levels and job creation rates (Economic), education levels and health improvement rates (Social), and pollution levels (Environmental) were identified and included as dependent variables. Results indicated that women’s involvement in tourism significantly boosts local income, job creation, education and health, while also reducing pollution levels.
