Interactive technology that creates a virtual environment to improve staff capabilities is overused nowadays. Virtual reality (VR) or immersive virtual environments using Head Mounted Device (HMDs) decrease stress and improve workplace health. Immersive wellness involves designing and using VR and augmented reality (AR) settings to improve mental, emotional, and physical health. Immersive wellness uses immersive technology’s (IT) sensory and interactive capabilities to create highly engaging, individualised, and frequently simulated experiences for stress reduction, mental health assistance, and human flourishing. This bibliometric synthesis aimed to evaluate the research contribution in ITs for reducing stress and promoting workplace well-being by showcasing bibliographic coupling with authors, sources, countries, and keywords. The study uses Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses (PRISMA) to reduce the articles contributed from 2014 to 2024. Using the VOSviewer and the R package, the study will perform both qualitative and quantitative analysis using various networks. Out of 3,881 Open Alex publications published 2014–2024, 418 research highlighted significant links. CrossRef and ORCID, Scopus and Web of Science (WoS) databases, index these papers 100%. We only evaluated papers from reputable journals. The research examined IT, stress, and the well-being of workers, instructors, and professionals, using only English-language articles. Our analysis will include the top 10 authors, terms, papers, sources, and nations. IT usage appears helpful for employees to reduce stress and enhance well-being in the workplace. However, the major contributors to this body of knowledge are the United States, the United Kingdom, China, Italy, and Spain.
