The temperature rise in hot weather concrete leads to cracking and durability problems which is influenced by prevailing temperature, wind velocity, concrete mix, which is more in mass concrete. Quantification of temperature rise during such concreting in real structure is the subject matter of this paper. The material presented shows that proper care can reduce the problems due to hot weather concreting.
