There is no shortage of opportunities for entrepreneurial achievements resulting from revolutionary discoveries and promising technologies in health, food, climate change and energy. Opportunities for whom? This question arises from the fact that there are stark inequalities in access to healthcare (El Turabi et al.), medicines, food, breathing clean air, and the availability and use of energy sources. To seize the opportunities and at the same time respond to these absolute needs that are still unmet in so many communities, it is incumbent on entrepreneurship operating in fields so vital to the survival of species to adopt decision-making processes in line with equity.
