The Dalian Gulf Bridge to be constructed according to schedule is a kind of self-anchored cable-stayed suspension bridge with 800m main span. This type of bridge cancels the huge anchorage so that it can reduce the construction difficulties and costs. Furthermore, this type of bridge can provide a better example to other similar construction of huge span bridges under deep-sea soft foundation conditions and it will have bright application prospects. At present, there are fewer researches on this type of bridge so it is necessary to do some researches on the seismic response analysis of this bridge. In this paper, the seismic response is analyzed with response spectrum method. The CQC method is applied to the response spectrum computation. Finally, some conclusions are drawn which will be helpful to the preliminary design and construction of the similar bridge.
