There are numerous ethical, social, and legal considerations associated with generative artificial intelligence (AI) in academic research, from ideation to publication; generative AI contributes an important role in academic research. The creation, rewriting, and enhancement of the creative AI document have changed academic writing. The AI tools help researchers to develop new data and ideas through contextual understanding and human-like responses. While AI has many advantages, its use in academic research presents ethical concerns, particularly about authorship and IP rights. Collaborating with AI systems can be challenging as they are prone to writing errors. Similarly, AI-generated content is ethically uncertain due to a lack of recognition of AI ownership and accountability in legal systems. This study encourages ethical practices through the transparency of AI in academic research. Understanding the concepts of AI is crucial for relying on and using AI results in academic research to save academic integrity. However, AI specifications are suitable to improve educational ethics and acceptance. Although AI can create tech jobs, it can also eliminate mundane jobs as well as can transform education and communication. The study also emphasizes AI-generated material accountability for harmful principles, practices, advantages, and disadvantages. The design, deployment, and monitoring of AI systems must be ethical to avoid bias and misrepresentation. The study concludes the economic and social impact of generative AI in academic research. It is vital to conduct further research in order to develop comprehensive ethical AI practices that can be implemented in the future.
