From a general impression gained at the confer
ence and from Professor Benedict's summing up of
Session IV, it seems that certain of the more
advanced processes - and I think that Professor
Benedict would limit these probably to the aero
dynamic processes and laser processes - could
in the fullness of time turn into satisfactory,
viable industrial techniques, but they are almost
certainly some way from that position at present.
