Gianluca Antonucci is Assistant Professor at “G. d’Annunzio” University, where he is tenure of the courses: “Management of Nonprofit Organisations and Social Enterprises” (Master degree in Economics and Management) and “Management of Sports Organisations” (degree in Sport Sciences). His research focuses on third sector organisations, social accountability, sport management, co-production and social housing.

Andrea Bonomi Savignon is Assistant Professor at the Department of Management and Law, University of Rome Tor Vergata, where he lectures for the courses in Public and Non-Profit Management and Strategy and Controls in the Public Sector. He is coordinator of the track in Social Innovation and Government for the Master of Science in Business Administration and program manager of the Executive Master in Public Management (MIMAP). He is also Programme Chair of the strategic interest group on Public and Non-Profit Management at the European Academy of Management (EURAM) and a Co-director of the Permanent Study Group on Public Network Policy and Management at the European Group for Public Administration (EGPA).

Giuseppe Cappiello teaches Management at the University of Bologna. He holds a PhD in “Strategy, Management and Quantitative Methods” at the University of Milan. He has been Visiting Scholar at Kellog School of Management, Evanston (Illinois).

Luca Carrubbo is PhD in Business Management, he is Adjunct Teacher for the Business Internationalization and Innovation Management courses at the Universitas Mercatorum in Rome. Since 2015 he is Research fellow at University of Salerno and Member of SIMAS Interdept Research Center focused on Innovation Systems and Healthcare Management. Since 2012 he is Visiting Professor at Masaryk University of Brno (CZ) for the course of Marketing strategies in service business within the T-shaped international educational program of sponsored by SSMED. Since 2011 he is Adjunct Teacher for the Service Management and Business Management courses at the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio. Since 2011 he is ASVSA Member (Association aimed at conceptual development and international dissemination of the scientific proposals of Viable Systemic Approach).

Nathalie Colasanti is PhD Candidate in Public Management and Governance in the Department of Management and Law at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata.” She studies Social Innovation with a focus on the public sector and the management of common goods. She is also a teaching assistant for the courses of Strategic Management and Non-profit Organizations and Social Innovation.

Luigi Corvo is Assistant Professor at the Department of Management and Law, University of Rome Tor Vergata, where he lectures for the course in Social Entrepreneurship and Innovation. He is Program Manager of the Master in Economics and Management of Social Innovation (MEMIS).

Ernesto De Nito is Associate Professor of Organizational Studies at University “Magna Græcia” of Catanzaro, Italy, where he currently teaches Organization Theory, Information Systems, and Organizational Behaviour. He holds a PhD in Organization and Business Administration from University of Napoli Federico II. He was visiting PhD student at Viktoria Institute (Goteborg). De Nito’s research is in the areas of knowledge management, governance in public organizations and corruption. Furthermore, he studied the transport sector, with reference to the Local Transport and the role of Authorities.

Rocco Frondizi is a Research fellow in the Department of Management and Law at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata.” He studies Social Innovation, Third Mission, Entrepreneurship and the crowd-based economy with a focus on the public sector.

Paola Garrone is Professor of Business and Industrial Economics at Politecnico di Milano, where she teaches in MSc, PhD and corporate programmes of the School of Management. Her main research interests are in the economics and policy of utilities, and sustainability of food, water and energy sectors. She has published over 45 papers in peer-reviewed journals, and written or edited 10 research books.

Martina Gianecchini (PhD in Business Management, University of Udine) is Associate Professor at the Department of Economics and Management at the University of Padova. She is Scientific Director of the Executive Master in Human Resource Management at CUOA Business School. Her main research interests regard career management and labor market dynamics. She is member of the international research group 5C (Cross-Cultural Collaboration on Contemporary Careers) which aims at understanding meanings, determinants, and outcomes of careers around the world.

Mara Grimaldi is PhD Student of Marketing and Communication at University of Salerno, Italy, at Business sciences and management and innovation systems Department. She is actually studying service research with particular focus on value co-creation and on the relationship between environmental and experiential dimension of consumption and consumer behaviour.

Alessandro Hinna is Associate Professor of Organizational Studies at Department of Management and Law of the University of Rome “Tor Vergata.” In the same university, he has got a PhD in Public Administration. He is Professor of Public Management at the Italian School of Public Administration and Editorial Board Member of the International Journal of Business Governance and Ethics and the Open Journal of Leadership. He is past chair of the Organizational Behaviour Strategic Interest Group (SIG), co-chair and member of the Public Management SIG within the European Academy of Management (EURAM).

Marika Kylänen is Senior Researcher at the National Institute for Health and Welfare in Finland. She also acts as a research coordinator of the International Group for Comparative Studies of Public and Private Management (PubPri) and an editorial assistant of Administrative Studies (Finland). Her research focuses on public and private management, and organization theory. She has been a research fellow of the Warwick Business School. Her PhD is developing a cultural theory of publicness and public values. Her Master’s Thesis won 2008 award for the best Master’s Thesis in Management Sciences in Finland. Her research has been mainly supported by the Academy of Finland.

Mateusz Lewandowski, PhD, is Assistant Professor at the Institute of Public Affairs, Jagiellonian University in Kraków. His interests are design thinking and innovation, performance management, public sector business models, and circular economy. He is an author or co-author of four monographs and over 30 peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters, published in Poland, the United Kingdom, and the United States. He serves as a consultant and expert for public organizations. He is a member of Editorial Boards of several international journals and serves as a reviewer for European Management Journal and Journal of Organizational Change Management, Sustainability. He is a member of IRSPM and EURAM.

Gianluigi Mangia is Professor in Organization Studies at the Department of Economics, Management, Institutions, University of Naples Federico II, Italy. He graduated from University of Molise doctorate program in Management and Organization Theory. He has been a Visiting Researcher at Warwick Business School, London School of Economics and Cardiff Business School. His research interests involve: project and knowledge management, public administration, corruption and dark side of business, human resources issues. He published papers in several renowned journals among which: Journal of Management and Governance, Journal of Knowledge Management, International Review of Public Administration.

Patricia Maria E. Mendonça has a PhD in Public Administration and Government from EAESP-FGV and teaches on the Public Policy Management & Policy Program at the School of Arts, Sciences and Humanities (Escola de Artes, Ciências e Humanidades: EACH) at University of São Paulo – USP, Brazil. Her topics of interest are: civil society organizations, partnerships and public management.

Marco Meneguzzo is a Professor of Strategic Management, Nonprofit Management and Public Management at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata.” He is also a Professor of Public Management and Nonprofit at the University of Italian Switzerland. He’s the coordinator of the Government and Civil Society Research Group (Department of Management and Law, University of Rome “Tor Vergata”), which includes the MIMAP Master (Innovation and Management of Public Administration) and the MEMIS Master, of which he is the scientific coordinator.

Santtu Mikkonen is Statistician and Senior Research Scientist at the University of Eastern Finland. He is currently leading the data analysis team in the UEF strategic research area in Aerosols, Climate Change and Human Health. His research topics consist of applying statistical methodology on variety of different topics. His main area of research is analysis of atmospheric measurement data and effects of pollution into human health. In addition, he participates in multiple studies in the area of social science, especially public management and health care administration. His educational background stems from statistics and computational engineering.

Lorenzo Mizzau (PhD in Management, University of Bologna) is Assistant Professor of Organization at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Milan (UCSC), Milan Campus, Italy. He is also Contract Professor of Organizational Behavior at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. With a specialized background in issues of management within the artistic and cultural sectors, his main research interests regard the geographical, social, and institutional contexts of organizational practices, and the aspects of governance and policy of those contexts.

Fabrizio Montanari holds a PhD from Bocconi University. He is Associate Professor at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, where he is also Scientific Coordinator of OPERA, a Research Unit specialized in the study of creative industries. He is also Adjunct Professor at Bocconi University and Research Affiliate at ASK Research Center. His main research interest regards the analysis of networks, clusters, and teams in creative industries.

Paolo Nardi is Research coordinator and international affairs officer at Cometa Formazione (Como, Italy) and is Assistant Editor for the journal Economics and Policy of Energy and the Environment. He has a degree in Public Administration and International Institutions and a PhD in International Law and Economics at Università Bocconi; he also received a MA in Public Policy at Brunel University London.

Francesco Polese is Full Professor of Business Management at the Department of Business Sciences and Management and Innovation Systems, University of Salerno, Italy. He is Director of the inter-departmental Research Center SIMAS (Innovation Systems and Healthcare Management) at the University of Salerno. He was Director of the MadiLab (Management and Innovation Diffusion Lab.) at the University of Cassino. His research interests are in the areas of service, systems thinking, and the viable systems approach. His articles have appeared in leading international journals, including Journal of Service Management, Managing Service Quality, European Management Journal, Service Science and International Journal of Quality Service Sciences. He was a Co-Chair of “The Naples Forum on Service: Service-Dominant Logic, Service Science and Network Theory.”

Anna Chiara Scapolan (PhD in Management, Ca’ Foscari University of Venice) is Associate Professor of Organization at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, where she is also Researcher at OPERA, a Research Unit specialized in the study of creative industries. She is also Contract Professor of Human Resource Management at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. Her main research interests regard strategic human resource management, organizational solutions, and HRM for innovation and creativity.

Andrea Tomo is Assistant Professor in Organization Studies at the Department of Economics, Management, Institutions, University of Naples Federico II, Italy, where he is Adjunct Professor in Organization Studies and Negotiation 2016–2017 and where he also assists the Chairs of Organizational Behavior, Negotiation. He holds a PhD in Business Economics from University of Naples Federico II, Italy, and he has been Visiting Researcher and Assistant Lecturer in Management, Strategies and Organization Studies at Leuphana Universität of Lüneburg in Germany. His main research interests are about innovation, organization and governance within professional services, public sector, transportation, healthcare sector.

Orlando Troisi is Adjunct Professor of Business management and Web marketing at University of Salerno, Italy. Currently, he is member of the working group of Social Audit at University of Salerno and of Institutions Sustainability and Performances at University of Salerno. His research interests cover Services marketing and management, Strategic management and Public management. He is reviewer of numerous international journals and he has presented numerous works at national and international conferences.

Jari Vuori is Professor at University of Eastern Finland. He is currently Head of Health Management Sciences at the Department of Health and Social Management. He has been Research Fellow of Warwick Business School (WBS). His research focuses mainly on the differences between public and private organizations and sectors at macro- and micro-levels. He is head of the International Group for Comparative Studies of Public and Private Management (PubPri). Research Group has mainly funded by the Academy of Finland. His educational and scientific background stems from public management, business administration, and economics. He acts as the editor of Administrative Studies (Finland), previously IJPPHME (USA).
