JOINT TRIENNIAL CONFERENCE 1993

Urban regeneration and the environmental challenge

It has been customary since the early 1970s for the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Institution of Civil Engineers to hold professional meetings triennially. The meetings have taken place alternatively on each side of the Atlantic Ocean. Since 1981, the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering has also participated.

The additional societies participating are the Institution of Engineers, Australia, the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers and the South African Institution of Civil Engineers.
