Editor’s Letter

Dear Reader

Welcome to the seventeenth volume of Research in Global Strategic Management and the first under my series editorship. Going into this volume, we first wish to recognize the outstanding efforts of long-time series editor Dr. Alan Rugman, who is fondly remembered for his contributions to this book series, amongst many others in the field of global strategy. Without Dr. Rugman’s efforts over the years, this book series would most likely not exist. While it will be difficult to fill his shoes, we aim to continue his strong tradition of publishing innovative and thought provoking research in the area of global strategic management.
