Conclusions for (More) Impact

This book has brought together some of the leading voices from around the world to address the urgent need to improve how we all use impact management to drive decision-making. As Jed Emerson wrote in the foreword, some of these voices are more well-known than others. But what we have attempted to do is highlight the variety of people and organisations working around the world to address the same concerns.

We are moving in positive directions. Many more of us are talking about the need to measure and manage impacts. We are more likely to be talking about the same thing when having these discussions. And there are many more of us putting the discussions into practice. However optimistic we are about these developments, we should also be extremely mindful that we are not making advances at the pace at which they are needed.
