William Allsop (HR Wallingford) - I note the comparison between your results and those reported by Professor Calabrese and myself (see Allsop and Calabrese (1998, 1999). Could one reason for the differences be ascribed to the mass/friction of your model caissons themselves damping out their response to short duration impulsive loads?
