Ashe is a junior in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, majoring in Agricultural Business. They identify as queer, nonbinary, and have had a partner for the past two years. In personal settings, Ashe uses they/them/their pronouns but in classes uses he/him/his out of concern for their safety and reputation. They have served on their college’s council, which is a governing group that connects all student organizations within the college, since their first year at their university. For the last year, Ashe has served as Council President. Like many students within the college, Ashe was raised in a Christian household. Since their arrival at the university, Ashe has felt they are a part of in- and out-groups as a consequence of their identities.
