This paper outlines the Netherlands experience on the overall performance of recycled aggregates, including mechanical, durable, and environmental quality. The importance of a proper quality control system has been addressed. In conclusion, a discussion on common logistic and economic dilemmas, which may be a potential threads for a widespread application of recycled aggregates for use in concrete, has been suggested.
