Author Biographies

Shing-Ling S. Chen is an Associate Professor in the Department of Communication Studies at University of Northern Iowa. Her research centers on information technologies, the self and the community. Currently, she has contributed to studies that key on the presentation of self in cyberspace and the notion of cyberspace as a public sphere involving varieties of groups and group interests.

Jeffrey Coons is a student at the University of Northern Iowa, majoring in Communication Studies with a minor in Graphic Technologies. He plans to work in the printing industry, preferably in a pre-press department.

Judy Eaton is an Associate Professor of Psychology at Wilfrid Laurier University. Her areas of research include social cognition, interpersonal relationships, conflict resolution, and restorative justice. Much of her research focuses on the use of apology and forgiveness in the resolution of interpersonal conflict.
