By integrating cutting-edge technologies with KM procedures and accelerators, alongside IoT components from various knowledge perspectives using a network of information, data, and expertise, organizations can create intelligence communities. IoT presents new opportunities for enhancing KM. Establishing an accessible and collaborative ecosystem through a KM system is achievable. This study clarifies ‘the role of IoT-based technologies in KM, especially as enablers of knowledge generation’.
