Chapter 7: Amelioration of Unexplored Heritage Sites Impact on Sustainable Visitor Management

In the history of mankind, peoples shared values, cultures, ethics and value for their own interest, and everyone was having legacy and heritage that need to preserve in modern times for the knowledge of values and ethics. Due to shifting toward modernity, we are forgetting our roots, and culture myriad of sites are now devastated and unexplored, even some of them have lost their existence. Revival of heritage sites not only helps in preserve culture but also leads to number of possible helpful outcomes, and visitor management is one of them. Monocentric tourism is the cause of improper crowd management and disturbance at tourism destination, so shifting of crowd at other heritage sites leads to Polycentric tourism and helpful in managing visitors in a sustainable way. Revitalizing heritage sites contributes to economic, socio/cultural and environmental objectives in achieving sustainability dynamics. In this chapter, we used secondary data for gaining understanding of unexplored heritage sites and their impact. We recognized the ways of heritage sites to managing visitors in sustainable way.
