Tribute to Daniela Hotolean

When Maureen Pope and Pam Denicolo took over the roles of Treasurer and Secretary from Chris Day and his support team in 2001, we agreed that we needed a paragon to help us with all our tasks. Happily, we already knew one. Danni helped Pam run a Masters' course at the University of Reading, dealing with mountains of paperwork, juggling the sources of funding, tending the students and, importantly, managing and controlling the vagaries of recalcitrant academics contributing to the course. All those attributes she brought to her ISATT role, honing them as she networked with members from around the globe and with ISATT's Executive Committee (EC).
