Chapter 1: Local Community Participation and Sustainability of Tourism – A Content Analysis

As tourism is a people-oriented industry, its major functions depend on human resources. A significant number of communities depend on tourism as a primary source of income. Tourism contributes to the growth of a community because it creates a lot of jobs in the various industries associated with tourism.
