Gardiner, Fox-Kirk, Elliott, and Stead have successfully crafted a rich collection of genderwashing research from esteemed global scholars in gender and intersectional studies. It offers the reader both a realistic and discouraging account of gender advancement. A critical look at organizations and organizational research through a lens of genderwashing is needed, and this book couldn't be more timely. At its heart, the book is a somber wake-up call for gender researchers and organizations' leaders who espouse, want, wish or try to make change in organizational life for the advancement of women and in the advancement of equity, diversity, inclusion and accessibility (EDIA) more broadly.
