Chapter 4: Thoughtful Leadership: Developing Ethical and Authentic Leaders

Leadership programs that adopt interdisciplinary practices and are mission-driven equipped leaders for complex challenges. The Thoughtful Leadership CertificationTM (TLC) program at the Gabelli School of Business at Fordham University is committed to forming such leaders. TLC is a year-long training program that provides theory, coaching, and experiential learning in thoughtful leadership to early and mid-career students. The program empowers students to recognize their leadership potential and develop leadership efficacy and capabilities. Grounded in Jesuit educational traditions and drawing from authentic and servant leadership theories, TLC seeks to develop thoughtful leaders who lead ethically and authentically.
