As one of the practical models in experiential learning theory, service-learning highlights the combination of community service and academic study. Today, the principle and the value of service-learning is being more and more recognized by higher education, especially in universities in China. This chapter reveals the capacity growth on students’ conviction, academic criticism, and social responsibility through a case study of 20 participants in service-learning courses. The discussion includes implications for impact on course design.
