Chapter 2: Opportunistic Future in the Wake of Uncertainty

Isn’t it wonderful how we are told since we were young that we have to go to college to get a good job? Well, at work colleges, this becomes a reality. I am currently a student at one of the best-kept secret work colleges in the United States—Berea College. Berea College, at face value, seems unusual. They give their students laptops. They give their students jobs. They give their students free tuition! Sign me up! While this may seem like the mundane or over-accentuated reactions to people visiting this college, I can tell you this is what got me—hook, line, and sinker.
