First page of Life at Berea

I first heard about Berea College when I was 11 years old when my sister decided this was where she wanted to go to school. I originally wasn’t the biggest fan of Berea because of the intense course work they put on students as well as labor hours, but after hearing my oldest sister convincing my middle sister to go to Berea, my views started to change. After doing more research about Berea and being on campus for a short amount of time, I discovered that Berea has great outreach opportunities as well as a variety of courses available which will help a student get a wider view of the world. Berea has many advantages such as small classes, beautiful campus, a wide range of major and minor options, internship opportunities, and study abroad programs. But it comes with many disadvantages as well, including the struggle of balancing work, school, and a social life; living away from home; and not having my car close.
