The film illustrates contemporary American society/American Diversity and explores inequality/inequity as well as larger themes of nature versus nurture, intersectionality and challenging assumptions.

From the largest elephant to the smallest shrew, the city of Zootopia is a mammal metropolis where various animals live, struggle, and thrive. This animated film has animals tackling very contemporary real-world “human” issues while challenging assumptions of prejudice, discrimination, and bias. When Judy Hopps becomes the first rabbit to join the police force, she quickly learns how tough it is to enforce the law.
