This chapter explores the nature of human behavior within the online subculture. Culture as a sociopsychological construction and the emergence of cyberculture are examined. Study within virtual environments and the practice of online learning are located as an important subculture within the culture of cyberspace. Human behavior in the virtual world is assessed within this context, and a variety of acceptable and deviant behaviors within cyberspace are discussed.
