First page of Closing Remarks

At the end of this challenging and charming intellectual journey, one may grasp many interesting sides of the issue of diversity through the lens of administrative action.

First, as is quite obvious indeed, diversity still may be a source for undue and illegal discrimination. Hence, administration has the duty to avoid bias and ensure equal treatment. One has to be aware that, especially when multiple discrimination may occur, it can be somehow “hidden.” An interesting test bed for this assumption is the area of gender studies, that are focused on one (simply recognizable) characteristic of people, but, at the same time, can be used as an instrument to interpret many different fields of human behaviour.
