This creative re/representation of a project spurs from the research we began in April of 2020. In the overarching project we documented the experiences of 15 educational leaders through phenomenological interviews and Photovoice (Wang & Burris, 1997). As part of this, we recognized the recursive nature of the project and its struggles, namely spending more time engaging through video chat about a pandemic that forces us to remain socially distanced and online. As scholars and educators, we were also forced into this reality for scholarly endeavors, our teaching, and social engagement. As such, this chapter is a way for us to be in engagement with the data, speaking in tandem with the recursive experiences of the participants. Using our own images and narratives in collaboration with that of the participants, we create a cacophony of educational experiences through multiple pandemics, with an eye to how scholar-leaders can thrive and support one another through crisis.
