First page of Stakeholders Weigh in on Collaborative Approaches to Evaluation

The authors of this chapter have interacted with J. Bradley Cousins in many ways, so we can readily testify to the quality of collaboration that is the hallmark of his approach to research, evaluation, and learning.

Lyn Shulha and Brad have been colleagues for over 25 years. Since the early 1990s, they have been seeking each other out to explore ideas and opportunities for research on evaluation use and on collaborative practices (e.g., Cousins & Shulha, 2006; Cousins & Shulha, 2008; Shulha & Cousins, 1997; Shulha, Whitmore, Cousins, Gilbert, & Al Hudib, 2016). For Lyn, these opportunities, as well as her cofounding, with Brad, of the Collaborative Opportunities to Value Evaluation (COVE) research group, have inspired a deep regard for his thinking and his friendship.
