School choice is part of the basket of ideals that accompanies the global expansion of market economies and democratization. Because often international organizations push for the development of private schooling as a way to diversify offerings and reduce government expenditures in social spheres. School choice is also a natural component of a diverse educational system, as a key goal of education systems is providing challenging opportunities to develop the most academically talented students within a variety of fields. For example, countries may offer academic or vocational tracks, provide learning for gifted programs, provide music, arts, or science oriented curriculums in particular schools.
