Let the Show Begin Kelsey

In this poem, I describe an adult who taught me how to prepare for a theatre show and my role in it. He taught me how to learn my lines and how theatre is an amazing art that allows one to be someone else and step in someone else’s shoes. This adult has had a deep impact on me despite knowing me for less than a year. I have learned a lot from him and appreciate his patience with the youth when others would have brushed them aside.
