In the field of personnel selection, it can be argued that a job analysis is one of the most critical processes for any agency. It is the foundation which ensures that an agency’s selection and evaluation methods are valid and legally defensible. Since the job analysis process can be time consuming and cumbersome for many agencies to complete, new innovations in this area should focus on streamlining the process. One such innovation is to create an efficient and user friendly Online Job Analysis Questionnaire (OJAQ). This chapter will provide guidance for developing an OJAQ as well as discuss the advantages and challenges an agency may encounter along the way.
