At age 44 years old, I’ve had brushes with success that my family and I are proud of. I’m a former amateur boxing champion, I own a spacious home in the Hamptons with a plethora of amenities, have a country club membership in south Florida, and a membership in a yacht club.
Professionally, I am the superintendent of schools for a high performing school district in New York State; serve on the school board for one of the highest performing school districts in New York State. I have a master’s degree and a doctoral degree from Columbia University, and have been recognized at the state and national level for my work as a school principal. My success could be considered “in spite of” my background, upbringing, and being raised largely by a single mother.
