CONCRETE: VADE MECUM

In putting together this Congress review from the many papers submitted, have been looking for significant trends that can give direction to the way forward. Both the Seminars and Conferences have been taken into account but it has been written in advance. As a consequence the views expressed and conclusions drawn may well change as a result of the Congress itself and the exchanges that will occur during the event. There will be opportunity to cover such developments during the Closing Address Ceremony.

A number of ongoing challenges for concrete have been identified that suggest a way forward. The intent to change is serious but the consequences of not changing are even more so. Quo Vardis?
