The Piling 2020 Conference comprised 79 papers, on all facets of piling, written by authors from design, construction, research and other specialist backgrounds. This paper gives a broad summary of the conference and the contributions made in the categories of Case Histories, Progress in Analysis, Construction Methods and Standards, Testing & Monitoring, Research & Fundamental Understanding, and New Trends – Sustainability & Data. It was written prior to the conference, and based principally on conference abstracts, so does not include the benefit of the conference discussion and debate had it been written post conference.
