The blast lines should be aligned horizontally in order for them to retain water when the tide retreats.

Have you discovered an ideal height/ position for vertipools between MHW and MLW?

The current ideal tidal height for the position of Vertipools between Mean Low Water Springs and Mean High Water Neaps, however with the effects of sea level rise pools will need to also be installed at high tidal heights to compensate for coastal squeeze.

Has the impact of marine growth on the functionality of defences been studied (i.e. runoff, overtopping, wave breaking impacts)?
