In your paper you reference some impressive results for the performance of the bullnose with respect to reduction in overtopping rates. Could you elaborate upon the design of this feature and how the final geometry was evolved? Were different geometries developed and tested, was there an optimum point between reductions in overtopping vs increases in uplift forces and possibly wave reflections? Could you offer opinion on any further advancements or constraints on development of this feature?
It would also be useful if you could expand upon the degree of wave height reduction achieved with the perforated caissons on the inner marina side, and if or how the design of these was developed and optimised.
